  For Xigbar Lovers II!

  Funny Business.

.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*

"What?" You complained to Saïx, "Why do I have to work with that creepy old dude who acts like he's still in his prime?"

Saïx turned and scowled at you, "Foolish little girl! You must work with Number II because, unlike you runt, he has experience and is fairly good at what he does! You're still new and you need to learn the ropes, rookie."

You frowned. He was right. He was Saïx. He was always right. Superior's pet.

"As soon as Number II gets here…" Saïx said, waiting impatiently.

Xigbar casually swaggered his way into the Grey Area. "Hey dudes. Sorry I'm late. I've got a life, y'know?"

"You'll lose it if you don't get over here and listen to what I have to explain to you, Number II. I told you to meet us here TEN MINUTES AGO."

"What kinda funny business were you up to?" You asked, looking into his yellow…eye, and poking your lips out in a angry/pouty way. "I'm already bummed I have to work with you, and now you show up late? You just can't help but drive a nobody insane, can you?!?"

"Psssh, as if! How polite you are! You should feel blessed to work with the likes of me, ingrate." He turned to Saïx, "Let's go Sailor Moon, I've got business to tend to afterwards, so make it quick."

"Sailor Moon?" Saïx said in a low toned voice, shrouded with anger, "There's a heartless in Twilight Town, Deadpool. Find it and kill it. You are responsible for taking Number XV on her first mission. Can you handle that?"

"Cha. C'mon pipsqueak. You're lucky; you got the best out of 'em all to show you how we handle heartlessness here in the Organization." He said, opening the portal and escorting you through.

"Ugh, God. Xigbar, if you were my husband, I'd put poison in your coffee." You didn't mean that, though. If he were your husband, you'd dance. To be honest, you LOVED him. More than words could ever express. Alas, there were so many obstacles that stood in your way. For one, he's so much older than you. Secondly…he wasn't your type. Yeah, you love him, but he's definitely NOT the type to love a gal like you. You're so witty, clever, and you know how to get yourself out of a bad situation. He seems like the type to like a super pretty, brain-dead, superficial broad that he could easily outsmart. That wasn't you in the least. You may not be the prettiest, but you certainly made up for it in brain power. Plus, the only reason you tortured him was because you never wanted him to know the truth.

"_______, if you were my wife, I'd drink it." He cleverly snickered, an evil grin twisting on his lips. Okay, maybe he was smarter than you gave him credit for.

"Whatever. Now where is this heartless?"

"Part of the mission is to find it. If he told us where it was, dud, we wouldn't be doing this, now would we?"

"Shut up! Can you stand to let me be right for once?"

  "I can if you can."

"Ugh!" You crossed your arms and turned away. You closed your eyes and refused to look at him.

  "Look out!"

"Yeah right." You said, keeping your eyes shut.

  "No, seriously dude! Move!"

  You shook your head.

  "_______!"

You rolled your eyes as you opened them and looked in front of you. You were going to scream and call forth your weapon, but it was far too late. It had gotten too close! A muffled squeal left your mouth as the huge heartless raised a hand to strike you.

Xigbar flipped in front of you, sending a barrage of lasers to the heartless's face, making it fall backward as Xigbar skillfully landed. He turned to you, "Believe me now?!?"

You nodded and called forth your weapon. "Sorry…"

  "It's fine."

  The heartless got back up.

You threw your weapon at it, and it caught it in its huge hand.

"Shit!" You screamed as it headed for you. Now you were defenseless! You braced yourself for the hit; shutting your eyes tightly and placing your arms affront your chest. All you could hear was a blood curdling cry…from the heartless. You looked up and saw Xigbar's body affront you.

He stood with his sharpshooter pointed toward the direction of the now dead heartless as its corpse vanished to the darkness.

"Xi-Xigbar?" you asked softly as he turned to offer you a hand.

"Don't mention it." He answered as you gladly took the hand and he helped you to your feet. "Just get the heart and let's go."

You nodded and collected the heart.

Xigbar opened a portal and the two of you went back.

After finishing up with Saïx, he headed down the hall and you followed him, jumping on the subject immediately.

  "Why did you help me?"

  "We're teammates."

"You risked your life to make sure I was safe! No one else here would do that! There has to be something more behind what you did!"

"As if! Just leave me alone, kid."

"I know you're hiding something! Spit it out! I can take it!"

He smirked. "Right. Sure you could."

"Tell me!" you screamed. You stood in front of him and blocked his way.

"You wanna know? I did it because I…no." He shook his head and pushed your arm away, making a path for him to go through.

  "What?!? You what?!?"

  "No."

  "Dammit you finish that sentence!"

  He kept walking.

"Xigbar!" You felt something roll down your face…something salty and wet. You voice cracked. "Xigbar…please…tell me!"

He turned to look at you, shocked at what he saw.

You were crying…for him.  But…since when can nobodies cry?

"I did it because…I think I love you."

You stood there, in disbelief. "Wha…What?"

"I don't know how else to describe it…I just knew…if I let you get hurt…I would never forgive myself." He turned and walked further, to his room.

  "Wait!" you chased after him.

  "What?!?"

"I love you too!" You blurted out.

"What happened to, 'Ugh, God. Xigbar, if you were my husband, I'd put poison in your coffee.'?"

"I thought you didn't like me, so I pretended to hate you! And your so much older than me!"

"Age is just a number! And it was all an act, woman! I thought if I was more confident…you would like that…or something…and the 'funny business' in my room. That was me trying to think about if I wanted to tell you how I felt-"

You kissed him. Your lips mashed together with his oh so perfectly. Like they were made to be that way.

He pushed you against the wall, pulling you up closer to deepen the kiss.

Your tongue mindlessly moved in rhythm with his, gently touching each other. Your face heated up to this.

  You heard whistles.

As you pulled away from him, but not breaking the embrace, your face heated this time with anger.

Axel, Roxas, Demyx, Xaldin, and Zexion were watching you.

Zexion wasn't doing anything, he just looked grossed out.

The other were laughing and whistling and…taking pictures.

"What's going on here?" Xemnas yelled from the room next to Xigbar's.

"Oh…nothing Lord superior!" Axel laughed, "Right guys?"

The others nodded and tried to keep straight faces.

"Go away! And you two…disgusting! Try to have your moment in private!" he slammed the door.

"Oh, we most certainly will." Xigbar growled at you.

You blushed deeply once you noticed what he meant.
